The MediaTek Dimensity 9300 is a fresh top-notch chip that will soon hit the market, competing with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Sources say that the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Antutu score may outperform the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in terms of both CPU and GPU capabilities.
Reports have surfaced, indicating that MediaTek, the Taiwanese chipmaker, has inadvertently released the Antutu scores of its upcoming flagship processor, the Dimensity 9300. The leaked data suggests that the MediaTek Dimension 9300 Antutu score is an impressive 1997743 points. 13% higher than the Antutu score of 1,771,106 points achieved by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
The MediaTek Dimension 9300 is expected to be the first Processor to use ARM Cortex-X4 cores, specially engineered for peak performance. The CPU setup includes 1×3.25 GHz Cortex-X4, 3×2.85 GHz Cortex-X4, and 4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A720, similar to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3’s configuration of 1+5+2, 1913 GHz Cortex-X4, 5×2.96 GHz Cortex-A720, and 2×2.27 GHz Cortex-A520.
In addition to its powerful CPU, the Dimensity 9300 is equipped with the Immortalis-G720 GPU running at 770 MHz, promising an extraordinary gaming experience. The processor supports LPDDR5X memory, UFS 4.0 storage, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and 5G connectivity. Built using TSMC’s 3-nanometer process technology, the Dimensity 9300 gains an advantage over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which uses a 4-nanometer process.
Expected to hit the market soon, the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 is set to power some of the upcoming flagship smartphones from various brands. It could potentially challenge Qualcomm’s dominance in the premium smartphone segment, providing consumers with more affordable and powerful options.
